Very high turnover and low morale - over 50% lost from my department with no backfill in the 2.5 years I worked there. Constant change and cuts in benefits. Poorly defined career architecture. No opportunities for career advancement or trust for younger engineers to take on more responsibility. Old boy's club, favoritism with nepotism in internal hires and promotions. Middle managers are unhappy and don't appear like they want to be in their positions. Poor benefits compared to industry, very low salaries, totally uncompetitive in LA and Denver areas. Poor reputation with aerospace prime customers. Way behind industry in terms of diversity (read: lots of older white men, few women and people of color in salaried roles). Soulless culture, very few happy office workers, everyone looks dead inside.
