Pros
The professors' level is as good as you can expect around NY Metro Area. There is little oversight, which might be good for experienced educators and self-starters.
Cons
All faculty and staff are overwhelmed with what is required of them and their workloads. As a result, there is very little involvement in the TAs activity, almost no communication and feedback. Basically you are left to fend for yourself, and there is no system in place in case there are weather-related delays or emergencies.
