They hire people with no prior commercial experience

Constant expectation of working overtime (work-life balance is not a thing there)
Lack of formal procedures
No regard for quality control or managing technical debt (management encourages people to merge unfinished code right before the demo with shareholders)
CEO is fine with moving scheduled time off around to force people to show up to meetings
