Pros
What I appreciated most about working at Moneymax was the strong people-centric culture. The team felt more like a supportive community than just coworkers — managers and colleagues genuinely checked in on each other, which created a positive and collaborative environment. I also valued how much autonomy and ownership we were given. Even early on, I felt empowered to contribute ideas, influence processes, and grow within my role. The company was transparent about its mission — helping Filipinos make smarter financial decisions — and that made the work feel both purposeful and rewarding. On top of that, the learning opportunities and work-life balance were solid, which made it a really fulfilling experience overall.
Cons
One area I think could be improved is the hybrid work setup. When the office moved to a farther location, it added more time to the daily commute for many of us. If there were more flexibility to work from home, I think it would help employees maximize their productivity and working hours, while also supporting work-life balance. The current setup is already supportive in many ways, but that added flexibility could make a meaningful difference.
