Interactions feel less like strategic leadership and more like navigating the social dynamics of an underdeveloped team lacking direction, cohesion, or accountability. Compounding these issues is an underlying business model and system architecture that feel significantly outdated. Processes rely on legacy thinking rather than innovation, and the company appears more focused on short-term tactics, (aggressive talent poaching) than on building sustainable infrastructure or genuine value. The technological systems mirror this mindset: clunky, antiquated, and misaligned with the demands of a modern recruiting environment. Company culture? There is none. Just fear, inconsistency, and a lot of performative positivity. People are disposable, morale is low, and the environment is draining. It’s all optics with zero substance.
