Loved working with the team. This experience solidified my love for a smaller work culture because of how open everyone is to help each other out and the ability to connect with those around you as well.

I wouldn't have any cons.

Most of the people are really nice on a personal level. I would like to stress that my comments really only pertain to upper management (specifically the CEO), as the other employees in the office were really great to work with.

Literally everything else. This is the worst employer I have ever worked for. I have never had such a terrible gut feeling about a place so early on in my time there. I applied for a position at this company within the past few months. After 3 rounds of interviews, the CEO informed me that he didn’t think I actually had the credentials for the position, but was willing to offer me an associate version of it at a much lower salary than what was being offered in the listing. I accepted it, thinking this would still be a great learning experience. However, I learned later on that they did something very similar with at least one other employee prior to my time there, so it seems like this is just a strategy they use to get people in the door with a lesser job title and salary. I was there for a total of 7 weeks, and I received next to NO training the whole time. Most days, I would respond to maybe 2-3 emails and just spend the rest of my day staring into space. A few of my coworkers were thoughtful and tried to help steer me in the right direction, but everyone there was so overworked that their available time to work with me was very limited. I talked to several people in the office about my concerns, and they always just told me to “hold on a little longer while they figured things out.” After 6 weeks, the CEO finally informed me of what my job description would be, which involved way more work than what was justified for the title and salary I was offered. I told him I was not interested in this position, and if this is what he expected of me that I could not commit to the role or the company. I have never even considered the idea of leaving a job without giving proper notice, but this place was so poorly run that it seemed like the only reasonable option for everyone involved. One thing that struck me about this office was that morale among employees was ridiculously low. It’s crazy to see just how much people do not enjoy working there. Apart from the CEO and a few of the main directors of the company, I don’t know if anyone actually seemed happy or proud to be there. Many of the employees give the impression that they are just trapped. They don’t want to be there, but they cannot leave for various reasons so they just stay and do their jobs while seeming exasperated. The whole theme of the office felt that everyone was overworked and underpaid.
