Pros
You get a car from management if you'd like to be a route manager as for an assistant you get picked up and dropped off which is nice. Work Mon-Fri with all weekends and holidays off.
Cons
Don't know where to start... Management is god awful. I think Hell would be nicer. They treat you like crap and constantly criticize. If youre early for a client its bad, if you're late its bad. You get 4 houses a day which are 2 hours or more. You make under minimum wage and they don't care at all. I cleaned a house and did the math, $7 an hour... The place was the grossest place I've ever cleaned. No vacation, and sick days? If you want to be chewed out for the next few weeks. Don't plan on making it to any doctors appointments during the day. You get maybe 50 cents for Tim Hortons for every compliment on a house, if you get a complaint don't plan on getting paid next time you clean that house. You work super long hours, 8-6 pretty much. If you have kids, it's not a good idea, no way to get your kid by daycare hours. They don't care how gross the house is or how safe it is. You clean it and throw up into the toilet you just scrubbed. You don't get gloves, masks or anything safety wise. They can't even provide equipment that works properly. Oh and no breaks, you drive all over the city you're assigned with no properly scheduled route so you don't have time if you want to make it home before it's dark. VERY high turnover rate. I've seen at least 10 girls walk out the first few weeks.
