Pros

There are some great employees here. They also have some great clients. There are a few unicorns who do great work. Most are very nice.

Cons

CEO listed no longer CEO. New owners can't lead. One is a narcissistic micromanager, the other is passive aggressive. Neither provide direction or leadership. No transparency. No positive feedback. No company growth plan. Rude and ineffective. Don't follow own rules. Horrible company culture. No time to train or learn. No work life balance. Constant chaos. No balanced schedule. Everything is high priority. Shifting responsibilities. Average health insurance for above average cost. Raises don't meet cost of living. Bonuses are small. No career path. Below average PTO. Sick time is from PTO. Below average pay and well above average expectations. Things not told in the hiring process: on call 24x7x365, responsibilities won't match job description, use your own credit card and accounts to test, use your own cell phone and plan to keep up with company business without stipend, be available anytime for any communication, drop what you're doing at any time to do something else and then get asked why the original thing isn't done, make up for other people not doing their job indefinitely, expect to get berated for any mistake or for asking questions, no constructive criticism just criticism.

Pros

I began with MoJo Active sometime after the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, the company seemed to be trending in the right direction. There were typical organizational/communication issues, but nothing that seriously disturbed workflow. Even now, most team members are encouraging, friendly, and willing to lend a hand when needed. The salary is relatively competitive for the area.

Cons

Leadership is failing and has been since ownership changed. There is a distinct lack of transparency around financials and goals. The health insurance benefits are subpar. There is constant talk of growth, but little to show for it. Employees are encouraged to grow in their desired career direction, but only at face. The reality is there's very limited opportunity for growth because leadership is adverse to change. Employees are hesitant to voice concerns because of recurring disregard.
