Creepy predatory culture - Warehouse Modern Everyday Employee Review

Pros

Very lax schedule, DIY work flow. Pizza once a month. Warehouse is simple work. You get to work outside sometimes. One or two smart employees in office.

Cons

Fellow coworkers try to drug/alcohol other female employees at company parties. Sometimes I do not know how they get so drunk off of only one drink. We also had to stop a few of the males on several occassions from secretly dragging the passed out female employees into their car. It makes me think of the things that I don't see. These are the founder's friends and office employees. For this, I knew it was the place I didn't want to be long-term. I don't trust them as people.

Pros

Good place to learn about the e commerce business. Very flexible work hours.

Cons

No real technical training. Expect you to complete a project on your own without much help.

Pros

Everyone is nice, the CEO is actually a great guy, and very easy place to work but....

Cons

Be aware that majority of the people in the office are friends of the manager because the manager hired them. So it makes senses why they're still there working, just like any other working environment there's rule and dress code and language behavior, well here there's none. People say what they want and dress how they like too, even when clearly its very inappropriate, again the same person who's the manager and the HR let this happen because its their friends. Oh yeah forgot to mention that two managers are in a relationship which i believe it's okay as long as you keep it out of the office, but in this case it was not. It was obvious. Now the manager i had was nice and respectful, but I think the company gave this person a full plate in their hands and it was to much for that person to handle, the manager doesn't have good managing skill, neither how to manage their employees.
