I worked at MGBW for 8 years and for good reason. The founders and their administration truly cared about their contributions to the design industry, their carbon footprint, and all their employees, A national corporation who actually lives up to these standards is rare in this world! I'm grateful for all my experiences during my time there, especially the life-long friendships I made along the way.

It goes without saying, the company shut down under less than ideal circumstances and the aftermath was devastating for all its clients and employees. Based off of the information I have gathered from many credible sources, the demise of MGBW is muddy and complicated and does not fall onto the shoulders of one singular person or group. With that in mind, I would like to stress, that our last interim CEO, Chris Moye, should not by any means bear all the blame. He stepped into what one can only be described as a dumpster fire, and did everything within his power to save MGBW. Up until the final days, Chris was incredibly transparent and forthright with the entire company and I appreciated not only being included in the conversation but being asked for our input and genuinely listened to. Was the way in which the shutdown was communicated to the factory workers ideal? No, but there weren't many other options in that regard were there? I believe Chris truly fought for all of us, but unfortunately the horse had already been let out of the barn upon his arrival. In conclusion, I'm elated to see that the company has made a comeback, and I will continue to reflect upon my time with there as a prolific chapter in my life. Vive MGBW!
