Claim compensation is performance based however will take advantage of whether or not your personality is assertive enough to say something about your pay and demand higher. If you’re a high performer but not assertive with your expectations for compensation you’ll be paid under the results you’re producing. Others who are very demanding but may not produce quality results will be pulling large salaries to do next to nothing. It’s hard on your mind when someone uses your respectful, professional demeanor to their advantage to pay less regardless of the strong performance and sacrifices made. I was told to be grateful for my pay because I’m young. Age doesn’t matter, I was producing more results than most General Managers and that’s what should’ve mattered. If you fulfill all of your responsibilities you will not have time for your life. You carry a lot as a General Manager here.
