Pros
- Great teammates - very talented and capable designers. - Dogs in the office. - They recently got rid of a lot of upper management. SimplyShe had poor management practices that continued even after Maria (former CEO) was let go. I think the better attitude and ability of new management will make this place turn around. - Transparency - VP and CEO are very communicative & supportive with employees and encourage direct conversations. - Flexible with time off & doctor's appointments. You also get quite a few paid holidays.
Cons
- Low team morale - people are overworked and underpaid. Promotions are few and far between and office doesn't offer the perks that many San Francisco companies do to encourage team building. - Layoffs & resignations happen very frequently and a small team is left to do too much work. - Micromanagement. Hopefully with old management gone, this will change too.
