Pros

You get to work on challenging engineering problems.

Cons

The new CEO knows nothing about engineering, manufacturing, robotics, restaurants or technology. He holds himself above everyone else, but is completely clueless about pretty much all aspects of the business. It's openly talked about in meetings. This is actually forgivable, were it not for how he treats those around him and the toxic culture that he has created. He's mean spirited, smug and condescending. His new direct reports have been unleashed to treat people the same way. If you are considering joining this company, please do so with your eyes wide open. Ask directly how many people have resigned since the new CEO took over. Get access to existing employees and ask questions about the culture and how people are treated. Or find ex-employees on LI and get some candid feedback from them. It's actually a shame that nasty cultures like this still exist. I will miss my colleagues but am so glad to have moved on from the "leadership" team. They are beneath me.

Pros

- Growth opportunity - Entrance into tech - Free food - Close coworker relationships - Start-up Energy - Good location (unless you're a westsider)

Cons

- If you like to stick to your job description, might not be the place for you. Many thrive this way though. - Half of senior leadership is remote - Not all systems are in place, but great if you like building them

Pros

You will meet some fantastic people that you will really enjoy working and hanging out with.

Cons

This job is a living hell because the CEO micromanages every project and regularly talks down to everyone, especially if you’re in operations or engineering. Slacks are monitored, and the office is a joke. Everyone is constantly living in fear of being let go.
