Thank you for the feedback. Pay is actually quite competitive and at market rate for a grassroots agency that is 6 years old. Minnesota CarePartner can have a social justice mission and fight disparities, and at the same time, the CEO (a woman of color) is allowed to build generational wealth for her family and self-care however she wants . BIPOC activists can and SHOULD refill their cups and it is racist to suggest that founding and leading a social justice organization from the ground up, which took blood, sweat and tears means that they cannot take vacations in their personal lives. To suggest that in their fight for equality, BIPOC have to remain marginalized is absurd, and this Suggesting that ANYONE should remain oppressed is ignorant beyond belief and would explain why this person was not a good fit in our organization. Also, our EHR, Procentive is HIPAA compliant and secure, even when working in a library or connected to wifi. Employees are allowed to work from home and complete documentation at their residence, which is fully in compliance with HIPAA laws.
