Flexibility to move from technical roles to project management roles to personnel management roles by interning in the various sections within the department. PGM analysis by the fire assay method was a new area for me, working at MIMOSA definitely added to my pool of knowledge and skills. There was no thing as a small or menial task,we were encouraged to do everything so as to understand exactly what it takes for everyone to get the job done. Quarterly competitions on health, safety and environment posters, poems or songs with monetary prices. These added a little fun into work.

Because it was a mine procedures do not change and thus the work is basically monotonous which did not encourage research or any adventure considering the vastness of chemistry.
