The Culture touts "People" as their biggest asset. Not necessarily the case. Across the company they promote those that give up their lives and play their game. Period. Even some that are promoted or moved into other positions after a poor showing in their current role makes it obvious to all. It's more of a game of giving up your life and playing politics than about the people.
