HR does not have a respected seat at the executive table. This can be detrimental to any company. Miller Pipeline has already spent hundreds of thousand of dollars settling employment claims that could have been handled appropriately by HR to begin with. Talk about cost savings. Maybe they don’t care because they’re a $1B-$2B company.
