Milgard is on it second transition of Parent Company Ownership. Moving from being privately owned, in 2001 was sold to MASCO, and in 2019 sold to MI. Each change has brought expected, as well as unexpected change, but that is just the way with our business. As a MI Team Member working at Milgard some changes have made us better, while others can be hard to understand and not well explained by leadership. The best example is the Benefit's Package (cost increase with program reductions or eliminations), 401k program (going to 3rd program manager in two years, the second cost most Milgard employees money in their plans, and the company match is less). Change is always a constant at MI/Milgard, I have see a lot in my years, and know there is more to come.
