Pros
The team here is so motivated to hit their goals everyday while also having their focus prioritized on the "new guy." This is a people helping people business and at every level whether it be assisting and training the entry-level, or helping out a customer, this is the focus. The management training program is truly comprehensive, from a start with basic sales skills, to team building, all the way to the developing of invaluable management skill sets. The amount that I grew here not only professionally, but personally as well, far surpasses my 4 year college education and any other professional experience I've partaken in. I feel well equipped to tackle whatever challenges I may face in my professional career down the line. The president, Kristina, truly cares about her employees and invests everything she has into their personal and professional development. For anyone looking for either A) a rewarding career or B) some entry level sales experience, Midwest Development Corp has you covered.
Cons
Merit and performance based can be seen as a con, however if one is willing to work hard and put their 100% effort in everyday, their efforts will be rewarded. Long hours, however the people you're surrounded with everyday make the days fly by. The entry level is a sales position, so it's important to know that this is not just a punch in/punch out kind of gig. This experience is everything that one makes of it.
