Pros
Learn about new phones. High commissions on data plans. To be honest, there is really no good pros about working for Midwest Cellular.
Cons
Where to begin...like everyone says, it takes micromanaging to a whole new level. You are being watched at all times and if you don't bringing certain about of accessories, you are written up. Everything is done by email, so it is not a very personable company. They will start you off at a training pay, but then will drop you by $4/hr. after 90 days (seems odd...). During training you are ignored by your trainer, who is the store manager, because they tend to think of you as an a nobody. When trying to do your training online when the DM is there, they will kick you off the computer all the time so they can take up the space with their laptop. They make everyone come in for Saturday meetings every week at 7:30 am for training conference calls which are completely irrelevant. Commission plans are based off doing high pressure selling to customers in order for you to even make a "living". For a company stand point, I would much rather work for a company that doesn't pay the greatest like McDonalds, than work for Midwest Cellular.
