Pros

Meeting new clients and building relationships. Getting to see new products in the industry. Samples. Working from home.

Cons

Driving. Cancelled appointments. No leadership. Low commission. Be aware of the Shipping cap for your " commission check" - you do not received any commission until it ships. You also have to hit a certain number each month and if you do not it will roll over to the next month. Say you need 10,000 shipping a month and you only reach 7,000 that month, 3,000 will roll over to the next month leaving you to achieve 13,000 in shipping until you get commission. No coaching, No team unity, High anxiety, very stressful, you will be spoken down too, a good day is never good enough. Your day is not 9-5 and can easily take over your life without you knowing. I thought going to market would bring me a positive outlook however I was looked down on, shoved to the side, and told not to look at or speak to Mr, Ganz the President of the company. I refuse to invest in a company that will get rid of me at the drop of a dime.

Pros

Free parking and located in a quaint small town setting.

Cons

Horrible company to work for, unless you love being micromanaged, mistrusted and disrespected by management. The attitude of the completely out of touch, yet demanding managers at this company, is to set unreasonable goals without clear direction and tools to actually do your job adequately. There’s no performance reviews and therefore, no salary increases. The main focus is to make money for the parent company in Canada with complete disregard for the employees who actually do the work. The managers don’t get their hands dirty doing any actual work which is quite surprising, given how small the company has actually shrunken down to now with massive layoffs. The quality and innovation of the products has gone completely downhill due to top level decision makers. The company’s brands no longer hold any true value and have consequently lost valuable market share in the industry. The company culture is fear-based with backstabbing, being the norm and morale that couldn’t possibly be any lower. This company is a sinking ship without a positive future. If you’re considering a position at this company, I strongly urge you to do some thorough research.
