Pros
You get to meet other people.
Cons
All of the material they give you is avaliable for free at the odin project, so they teach you nothing. All the "code reviewers" are just students a bit ahead of you, they don't give you a feedback, in fact you can copy some else's project and they will not care, so no real feedback. They MAKE YOU put up with irresponsible and childish people in order to do a project. You cannot do it by yourself, even if the other guy is doing nothing, it's just hilarious the way they say you need to collaborate with people that could not care less. They say this helps you to work with other people, when in reality it just slows you down to the pace of some irresponsible 18yo kid. There is NO professional programmer mentor at any stage of the program. You just meet with other students, in fact, if you really get stucked in a project, they supposedly have someone that will help you... Well you have to make an appointment with the guy and you are lucky if you can talk to him in the same week, and even then, it's useless. They put up this front of being inclusive and "friends of the people". In reality, if you report something, they do nothing. I even saw people getting harassed and they just made a webinar about abuse, hilarious.
