      Great benefits and very rewarding to be able to help others. Many opportunities for advancement and still a great pension plan.

      Cons

      Can be stressful with lots of time away from family. Long shifts with disruption to sleep patterns. Loud noises and exposure to hazards including smoke and diseases.

      Pros

      Diverse environment that surrounds itself with all sorts of personality and backgrounds ( professionally and ethically). Many areas of specialization that welcomes observers or newcomers. It's also a tight knit community. Equipment is advanced and up to date.

      Cons

      Infrastructure and utilities of the stations need to be remodeled or upgraded; many areas within the station seem unsanitary and out of date.
