Pros

The culture was initially fantastic for 2 years and then a rapid, nearly overnight decline and complete shift in managerial mood in attitude (across departments, not specific to one org). Initially, management style and expectations were quite flexible. Pay , PTO and benefits are competitive to, or even better than, similar roles at other companies (perhaps to make up for the cons listed below). Salaried claims employees have unlimited PTO and high pay.

Cons

Compensation does not increase with performance and annual raises are not offered to everyone. No stock options for regular employees, just the fancy HQ folks. Constant talks of bonuses, but this is not something actually in the company structure. Constant discussion of upward mobility, but all moves offered to entry level are lateral, despite being told "to apply and see what happens" for higher roles. Most internal positions are not outwardly discussed or outright kept from other employees. Literal nepotism one occasion I can think of, as well as the general cliqueishness of internal committees that makes getting involved difficult, or just plain undesirable. Budget concerns become entry level employees issue, rather than something for directors and executives to work out. Myopic focus on "efficiency" without metrics that measure or match this (all reported metrics are customer satisfaction based). Walkouts, and employees going on maternity leave, vacation or, general leave and just...not coming back...were not uncommon. The workload of two or three tends to get placed on high performers, rather than just onboarding more employees (this is the case for multiple departments and roles). The rapid decline in overall culture and morale has led to a pretty large, gradual (and likely ongoing) exodus of original employees (at least in the AZ office), from entry level all the way to executive positions. Turnover went from nonexistent to quite high within about a 2 years of the AZ office opening.
