Pros

Simple work Physical in nature but that’s expected People there were generally decent to work with

Cons

Overnight shifts can be rough on sleep schedule They advertised a $1,000 retention bonus during the holidays contingent upon reporting to all shifts and arriving on time. I did these things and was told that because I wasn’t hired by a certain time, this bonus didn’t apply to me. The bonus was advertised to me in the hiring email from HR as well as their job posting. It didn’t mention anything about being hired by a certain date. I got the contact info to regional leadership for this company and was told there was nothing to do about it. I emailed executives for the company since they falsely advertised, and I wanted the bonus I worked for. Never heard anything back and left this place.

Pros

Somewhat decent starting pay and small differential provided for non-benefits.

Cons

Sweltering working conditions; no A/C, but no fans either. Safety and other small inventory necessary to perform job, promised yet not provided. Large turnover; extremely physical job; most shifts undermanned. Motivating reliable employees would go a long way. When managerial positions open, outside applicants are hired and rely on employees there for several years to train them, as opposed to hiring from within. Difficult to get 40 hours, but once you do, when overtime is necessary, it's not paid. After years there, pay is the same. Impossible to move up in company.
