Pros

Sick days, vacation days, personal days, all are very generous, all paid. Free beverages everyday, free lunches on Friday, employees occasionally bring in snacks for everyone. Mostly open concept office, management is approachable. Typically they discourage overtime, though there have been some crunches. Encourages taking a 5 minute break to clear your head.

Cons

You need a certain kind of personality to get along with people. It's small enough that everyone is everyone else's friend, so not getting along with one person can be a big deal. Being so small, they lack certain kinds of supports that large corporations typically have.

Pros

The job is fun, and there are some genuinely nice people here.

Cons

The pay does not reflect the amount of work and responsibility expected in this role. The workload is high, and there is limited support from management when issues arise. Accountability from leadership is inconsistent, which can make it frustrating to address concerns or improve processes. Overall, the expectations placed on staff feel disproportionate to the compensation and support provided.

Pros

If you need admin or dev experience to get a good job this place is a good 2 yr plan to get where you need to be to get out. Similar to FDM4...

Cons

MetricAid used to be a place you wanted to stay and build a career, where management was supportive and engaged. Now they track your time like your a theif, nickle and dime your time off, and if you take vacation expect it to count against you as you'll need to work extra hours before or after to make sure your work is covered. If you say you are at capacity they will review your vacation, but not hours worked to show that you actually have capacity and assign another task or client. The current CEO is a bully and has promoted her friends to director positions while driving out people who are talented and compassionate. If the CEO doesn't like you she will make it her mission to make you quit. She regularly engages and promotes gossip and will use gossip as a means to punish people. At least 1 employee put forth a harrassment claim that they kept in house and dealt with by making her so miserable she left for another job. The only time management speaks to you is if some gossip has reached their ears about you. You also learn that those who spread gossip are promoted and become favored so it becomes beneficial to partake. The dev team used to be good and a bit protected, but they have an interm CTO who has bought into the CEOs way of running things, and they have quickly pushed out some of the best people in that department.
