Pros
Good insurance benefits, low cost Great co-workers!
Cons
Lower pay than is reasonable for many positions, unless you’re in management. Management team receive large bonuses, while hourlies must fight for contracted raises. Merit raises for non-management positions do not exist and are only given if you submit a resignation to go somewhere else for more pay. Too much mandatory overtime for hourly workers in order to compensate for lack of employees and over-promising to customers. Little accountability at management level Management decisions often overridden by higher-ups. Do not always follow their own Quality rules. Some are bent if following them is inconvenient or will result in a late or incomplete shipment to customer. Questionable quality parts are shipped if not enough good ones are available. Questionable number crunching to present positive results. Dishonesty on management level. Some management team members do not support the employees within their departments in order to appease higher-ups. Personal friendships and favors influence higher-ups. Guidance, oversight, and decisions are not always impartial, practical, or of a benefit to the company bottom line. Management by intimidation is allowed; reports of harassing behavior are ignored. If you are a person who appreciates a pat on the back every once in awhile, look elsewhere, you won’t get it here.
