Cons
This was my first job, and although I entered with enthusiasm, I gradually experienced situations that made me feel treated differently, including instances that, from my perspective, reflected gender-based unfairness. Over time, the work environment became so difficult that I felt compelled to step away, despite my dedication to the role.
I was placed on a PIP that I did not fully understand or feel was aligned with my performance, and this brought my work to an abrupt stop. The experience had a serious impact on my mental health, to the point where moving forward professionally became extremely challenging for me.
When I later enquired about returning, the interaction made me feel dismissed rather than supported. I also faced issues paid leaves, even though I had worked consistently, including long hours and weekends. As someone with HR knowledge, these discrepancies were troubling and hard for me to reconcile
