Pros
There are some good employees here, but they're not part of the management
Cons
To summarize my experience, I came on as a part-time employee with the promise of full-time when I graduated. Covid-19 delayed that and my full-time rollover was pushed off. Up until June, I was told that the company still wasn't sure about the situation but they'd let me know as soon as they figured it out. Time continued to pass and I still heard nothing. Five separate times, I contacted my manager (as we were remote due to Covid) via email and Slack messaging, and each of these times I was completely ignored, to the point where I had to tell my teammate about the situation and he had to ask for me. I received the same nothing answer through him, and continued on until November, when I was randomly fired via phone call from HR, citing reasons of me not doing well on projects. It was overall a vague and clearly false reason, and not even from the manager who promised he'd keep me updated and that I would be employed full-time. The fact that I hadn't heard from my manager for 5 months, despite multiple messages by me, and that HR was the one to "fire" me with no genuine reason, showed me that all of the negative reviews on this site were correct. Communication was terrible and as a part-time and young employee, I clearly wasn't respected or cared about by the management.
