Pros

Learn new skills like doing the hotel bed

Cons

Rostered at 8 but were told to come at 6 or 7 sometimes, pays by room, not hour. Usually they just gave you 4 rooms, because 1 room should be done in 45 minutes but the room is huge, and dirty (they won't care if you tell them it's too dirty). They would keep pushing you and you might finished at 4 or even 5, but they only paid you for 4 hours or based on how many rooms you did. (which sucks because they dont include the time you walk to the linen room, the chemical is so harsh and bad, room is big but not enough time, complain from supervisors, but mostly, not worth the workload with the rate given)

Great Company to work for, great people and great atmosphere. I wish I didn't have to leave this job (I was moving)

Pros

Team is friendly overall, somewhat cohesive.

Cons

I agreed contractually to a 3 month ramp up with salary plus commission and benefits with an understanding that I am new to the industry and would need training support and overall guidance to execute the job at a high level. I received none of these things, the CEO of the company fired me after a week at no fault of my own stating "she couldnt afford me". I received 1 day of light training if you could call it that and was kicked to the curb.
