If you are African American or black, you will be promoted. If you are caucasian you will be passed by for promotion or squeezed out of the company entirely. Most of the management and most of the company employees are black and racist against white people. Even though Melanie is caucasian, she is not made aware of what is going on. HR is difficult to deal with and they make you do their work. You have to do your own payroll for example which has always been an HR task in every other place I have ever been employed. Management will alter and write incorrect dates on legal documents on purpose to pass State inspections. Management tells staff to change dates. This has been done in the foster care department many times. There is a lot of dishonesty going on, but management will say they are supportive of your needs to succeed. One more thing, the pay is not good in comparison to neighboring agencies.
