Pros
Making new friends and a casual culture.
Cons
There is constant change with no set direction. Working in the call center you are micromanaged. Every fifteen minutes an email goes out telling you to make more and more outbound calls. A lot of people want out and are looking to leave. The company does not care about seniority, level of education, or your career goals. There is no way you can move up the company ladder. I've seen people get let go who've been there for years, while their new coworkers whom they trained are allowed to stay. They only care about the owner's bottom line. Monthly sales commission checks have decreased by over 75% during the last two years. I've seen the sales reps commission checks go from $750-$1,750 per month to $20-$500. The sales process is now more lengthier than ever. The owner of the company who ultimately makes all of the decisions remains in Florida most of the year.
