Pros

They are always hiring since turnover is so high. Many learning opportunities about what not to do.

Cons

Narcissistic, under qualified CEO who talks down to staff and uses flawed data in reports to shame them in open meetings. Mentally ill, unethical and incompetent upper management that is disconnected from direct care staff. No desire to support or invest in competent staff. Allowing safety risks to remain high in inpatient settings despite numerous client deaths and staff injuries. Lying to AHCA and “losing” recorded evidence. Not client focused. Unethical. Shifting grant funds around unethically. Allowing staff to bully other staff and even acknowledging the behavior with a write up yet still allowing the staff to continue the behaviors. Irresponsible handling of Lutheran funding. Dismissing staff immediately time and time again when they provide a 30 day notice. Blaming mismanagement and short staffing on Covid even though the concerns were evident before the pandemic. Allowing 20 plus licensed clinicians to leave without trying to determine the basis for the mass exodus. Failing to conduct and analyze exit interviews. Creating mental illness rather than wellness from a toxic work environment that triggers past trauma and provides opportunities for staff to experience unnecessary traumatic events.

Pros

What pros? You can’t effectively provide support for clients because the workload is way too much. They don’t train you or provide support so you are left to sink or swim on your own. Clients lack care because of this which is why Google reviews by clients are so low.

Cons

This is a burn out factory. Way too heavy caseloads. Seeing eight clients per day is not sustainable and you will burn out. They will tell you that people will no show but sometimes they don’t and you will get burned out. That and getting scheduled new clients nonstop. Your caseload will be unmanageable. You will never catch up on documentation. You will not be trained. You will be left to “figure it out”. And you are not paid well enough to deal with any of it.
