Pros

It is supposed to be a nonprofit hospital

Cons

Very high pressure, condescending environment. The vaccine push & workplace bullying without exception in regards to flu shot for years & now covid without any regard for legitimate medical exemptions is inhumane. The corporate attitude is that the St Louis way is the only possible way. They approach areas remote to St Louis as if they are a lesser class of people who never did anything correctly & must be brainwashed in the Mercy way. Their scapegoat excuses are always “The ministry says ___. Catherine McAuley would’ve approved it. She would’ve done it this way.” I can only imagine she’s rolling in her grave at the unChristian- let alone gravely unCatholic way this “ministry” runs their corporation. Underpaid staff. High patient to staffing ratios. Always putting profitability before safety. Outdated, unsafe equipment is never replaced, just removed when it finally stops working. I could go on & on…
