Pros

Flexible work schedule, lots of fun events after work, opperunity to network, its a good place to get a foot in the field

Cons

- Currently "right shoring" aka off shoring a lot of their work force - Chronically under staffed with a significant number of employees jumping ship and refusing to back hire - Now fully hybrid and theyre inconsitent with who they allow to work remote - Struggles with office culture - Low pay and lower raises for industry. Most people were offered around 1 to 2% if any. The only way to really make money at Mercer is leave and come back. - Restructuring and using more AI, I imagine there will be more layoffs in the near future - Inconsistent with over time

Pros

-Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

Cons

-Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
