Pros

Lots of people in their twenties in their first job after uni, so it’s good fun (for a while)

Cons

- Lack of salary increases (they use the same business isn’t performing well mist years) - Poor management (particularly a lack of managers with the necessary soft skills). - Terrible work/life balance (and often incidences of people not getting their overtime). You get a laptop which puts staff under pressure to go home and work further. The tight budgets mean that staff are constantly under pressure to do extra hours and not charge for them. - Budget technical centre brings with it problems such as, little respect for their staff, very tight control over budgets and efficiency savings which leads to difficulty retaining mid-level staff (& therefore added strain on workloads and lack of an experienced workforce) Just in general I would hold out for a job where you can work good hours, where you will be respected as an employee, where you won’t be harassed every day by efficiency ratings and time charges and where you can be reasonably sure that if you work hard you will have room for progression and salary increases. You can do better than Mercer!!

Pros

Remote flexibility, which is nice.

Cons

You will not get a raise and if you do, it'll be 1%. Managers will not help you with escalating issues, you're on your own. It'll be blamed on you. You'll work so much overtime you won't have a social life.
