Pros
Great starting wage for entry-level new grads. Can't knock the benefits packages. Terrific Medical/Vision/Dental offerings, generous vacation offerings.
Cons
Specifically with respect to Mercer's Outsourcing H&B: If you come from a specialized major, be prepared to be locked into the world of benefits administration. Non-transferrable technical skillset: In order to have this skillset transfer, you'll need to do outside work on your own to secure such measures (but don't forget about the non-compete/non-disclosure you signed or it could get dicey). Don't plan on using that vacation anytime around the holidays as a member of Mercer Outsourcing's H&B section - that happens to be the "busy" season (Open Enrollment) and as such, M-Fs just went from 40s into the 50s Working for any "client service" organization entails the need for the office to always be staffed (M-F) - rarely/never work remotely, long core-hours (lack of flexibility with work hours).
