      The mission to help useful things stay useful is meaningful.

      JV management team led by a CEO who is disengaged and woefully incapable of developing a cohesive strategy, much less executing against it.

      Great direct management, team culture, growth opportunities. great worklife balance. The people are what makes this work so enjoyable.

      Cons

      The larger japanese company is the boss after all. US team switches up working structure & company priorities & strategies very frequently based on direction from japan team.
