      Pros

      - work life balance - you can survive with zero japanese (we have really good interpreters) - family support is really good

      Cons

      - some parts are still quite "japanese" - not as diverse as it can be. - getting a bit more corporate, like performance reviews.

      Great direct management, team culture, growth opportunities. great worklife balance. The people are what makes this work so enjoyable.

      Cons

      The larger japanese company is the boss after all. US team switches up working structure & company priorities & strategies very frequently based on direction from japan team.

      Great benefits, and a majority of coworkers from various departments are fantastic and creative.

      Cons

      Multiple directors have major egos and very little respect for those under them in the org.
