Whether you're pushing carts at a store or the Chief Merchant with 33 years invested in the company: One word from John Menard or one guest complaint and it's your last day. This fear of constant, unexplained firings also creates a toxic, fear-based management team. - Pay at corporate is subpar to the industry, even before considering that most of your pay is wrapped up in their 'bonus' structure. With 'bonuses', they still pay 38% less than the industry average. - Zero benefits at corporate. Zero.
