      Pros

      Upper management has a passion and a vision for Memorial being a great place for patients and employees. Memorial also has many excellent staff members, who are capable of great work.

      Cons

      At the middle and low level IS management, there exists a serious deadlock (especially in the IS department) for progress. Some staff are only there to gather a paycheck and are more than willing to do nothing. With projects frequently blocked, some staff literally have nothing to do for extended periods of time.

      I loved the people and the heart of the organization for their patients. It was a collaborative and fun environment to work in.

      None. I loved working there.

      Pros

      No micro-management, which is outstanding. Decent PTO. I think they’re trying to retain staff but simply do not understand the market.

      Cons

      Very poor communication, no structured, professional training. No department meetings, huddles or comrade. There doesn’t seem to be any motivation or desire for employee enrichment or advancement. Pay is embarrassing low and there is no excuse for this.
