Pros

Melaleuca is a very stable company. You don’t have to worry about layoffs or downsizing. They reward longevity by giving all employees bonuses every five years that are equivalent to the number of years worked ($5K for 5 years, $10K for ten years, etc.). Their benefits package is very competitive. They offer dental, vision, full medical and HSA, flex spending, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability. They are very supportive of families in times of crisis. I love the $90 of free product we get every month, plus the free vitamins.

Cons

There was a daycare on site at their old building, but there isn’t one in the new location. The company has a very fast-paced environment, which isn’t for everyone. The approval process can be very long at times.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
