Cons
This is not a surprised based on the other finance reviews but the leadership within the finance department is so toxic and here's why: - There is no clear path for you career because the management team would rather push you out the door than promote you. The only way you can get promoted is if you play the game. There is no recognition or appreciation. So, if you like being over worked and over looked then this is place for you. - You can be as vocal as you want with management and nothing will come out of it. It will eventually backfire even though management encourages feedback. - Management will be little you and badmouth you to other employees. This is the kind of culture they have adapted over the past few months. - Mejuri is growing at a rapid pace which means there is a lot of new initiatives within the team. The management's mentality, is to just get projects done and worry about your mental health later. - No one in management is genuine or actually cares about their employees. They are all results driven and will do anything to get the result they want. If that means pushing you out the door then that’s what they will do. If you look at the finance team as a whole, no one has been there for more than 1 year. Turnover is so high because management has no idea what they are doing and constantly overlook their employees well-being. Mejuri has some great values but for some reason those values are not present in the Finance department. Do yourself a favour and take these glass door reviews seriously.
