Pros
Flexible hours, can work from home sometimes. Meijer always strives to be on the cutting edge of the latest technology for the retail business.
Cons
Long hours on larger projects, lots of pressure and red tape in their project implementation process. IT department reorganization means that IBM and Cap Gemini are responsible for much of the routine program support and maintenance, so IT team members are on edge after the Oct. 2017 restructure, which changed the earlier 'Meijer IT family' comradery to be more dismal / depressing place to work, with less job security than any time in Meijer history.
