Pros

-You get to meet lots of friendly coworkers and make many friends. - they will work with your schedule - plenty of hours available (at least in,the media/tech department) due to constant employee turnover

Cons

- Some very rude and mean team leaders who would constantly micro-manage you so you couldn't even breathe without them staring at you - You're forced to join the union, even if part time. Union fees are quite high and stupid - This job is like a revolving door because they only pay $9/hour for a cashier when Walmart across the street is paying 11, 12 and even $13 an hour for less work!! - The "secruity" that works there acts like they are the sherriff of the city you live in. Get over yourselves you watch security cameras at a grocery store - As a media department worker, you will on more than one occasion be stuck running the entire department by yourself on a WEEKEND AFTERNOON. You will have 6 customers begging for your attention and you will be overwhelmed most of the day.

Pros

Direct coworkers were great to work with. I also enjoyed being left to do my work and not babysat by management.

Cons

Management doesn't know what they are doing. Resets and floor plans were regularly not done properly. The store I worked at has a skeleton crew so I never got help (but was expected to stop everything I'm going to go help other departments/areas). Also meaning good luck to any customers needing help, especially when I was the only person working my area of the store, so when I wasn't there, no one was. Management also regularly disappeared into the offices or were on vacation. Also was terminated for reasons outside my control even though I was told they look at the reasons for attendance incidents before termination. Never got to get the FMLA or accommodation to my doctors before being terminated two days after I requested them. Didn't bother asking for a raise either. I did multiple times and got nothing.
