Pros

Most co-workers can be fun, able to put in for days off or availability. Schedule are flexible as long as you tell your team leader in advance.

Cons

If you're a new store and started at minimum wage, don't be surprised if new employees are hired in with a larger salary than you are. I opened a new store and because of minimum wage going up as state law, I lost two of my raises essentially. I'm making 8.75 an hour and new people are being hired in at 10 an hour or more. It's not right when we busted our behinds to open a new store and stuck through it since and this is how we're treated. Remarkable program is a joke unless you're in service so it sounds like a good thing, but you'll rarely get your card signed. If anything, the harder you work, the more work they'll give you. Also, most members of management are worked really hard, almost 50 hours a week. The pay is decent for them, but since they're non-union, the company can work them as much as they want.

Pros

Direct coworkers were great to work with. I also enjoyed being left to do my work and not babysat by management.

Cons

Management doesn't know what they are doing. Resets and floor plans were regularly not done properly. The store I worked at has a skeleton crew so I never got help (but was expected to stop everything I'm going to go help other departments/areas). Also meaning good luck to any customers needing help, especially when I was the only person working my area of the store, so when I wasn't there, no one was. Management also regularly disappeared into the offices or were on vacation. Also was terminated for reasons outside my control even though I was told they look at the reasons for attendance incidents before termination. Never got to get the FMLA or accommodation to my doctors before being terminated two days after I requested them. Didn't bother asking for a raise either. I did multiple times and got nothing.
