Pros
This is my first job and as a newbie, I didn't complain much. So I thought getting an HMO is a good deal (but when you think of the 60k coverage and 1yr wait time for it now, it doesn't look that good). Getting field experience is great, and I've learned a lot, and was exposed to a lot. Co-workers at the sites are cool. The salary is also on time. Also, they have 14th month pay before at the sites during June/July, and it's big (if you are project based, if you are in the Head Office, it's a no no 🤣).
Cons
They have a lot of cons! 1. 6-day work week. Super tiresome. No wonder the turnover rate of employees is high, because they are all burned out. 2. Looooow salary. As in. It's kinda demotivating actually that you are expected to do so much work and get paid around 15k to 19k (if you are FA1 or FE2). Can't imagine how my FE colleagues felt when they get paid below 20k and they are licensed Engineer. Been with the company for 4 years and the last pay I got was around 19k. Boo. 3. POLITICS. Well yeah, all companies have this but here in Megawide, it is soooo evident. So many 'sipsip' people here. If the manager doesn't like you, they will think of ways to fire you etc. The Management is so poor. It's like being in HS all over again. Once, I discovered that my manager BCCd our private email to the rest of the team, making me look stupid. 🤣 They keep unlicensed employees and even prop them to high level positions such as managers/supervisors of the department. IT'S A GOOD THING IM NOT HERE ANYMORE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
