Incompetent management at business levels. HR runs the show here and will demote or 'rif' (layoff) employees at will. They have an extreme dislike of engineers. Slow moving, little opportunity for advancement. They would rather hire less qualified people off the street than promote within the company. Salaries are marginal, bonuses are less than marginal.
