Pros

The frontline team is incredibly hardworking and carries the weight of the company. There is a deep well of institutional knowledge among the long-tenured staff who truly care about the clients. Most of us front line sales really care about the relationships we build with customers and team memebers. Free coffee, Free Parking. The Rem metro is close by now.

Cons

​Executive Instability: There is an alarming "revolving door" at the executive level. Having 5–6 high-level leaders depart or be replaced in a short window points to a deeply toxic environment at the top. This constant churn creates a "whiplash" effect for the rest of the company, as strategy changes every few months without any consistency. ​Disconnected Management: Upper management is completely out of touch with the competitive landscape. While competitors are aggressively winning over our clients with better retention plans, our leadership remains stagnant and offers no support to the teams actually trying to save business. ​Quality Reality Gap: Management talks a lot about "quality," but the frontline is forced to deal with constant product issues and unresolved flaws. We are the ones who have to face upset clients when products are discontinued without a plan, yet our feedback on these issues is ignored. ​Career Stagnation: There is no clear path for growth for frontline employees. It is demoralizing to see other departments receive constant promotions and recognition while those of us who have been here for years when their tenure is much shorter—keeping the lights on—are completely overlooked. Salaries: not competitive enough for the industry

I have worked for Medisca for four years and could not be happier. The company is rooted in quality and is the industry leader in innovation! We recently held our Global Commercial Summit in Montreal and I could not have been more impressed. Employees from all over the world joined in a week of networking, training, mentoring and team building that surpassed every expectation I had. Senior management took time to engage, interact and take feedback from all in attendance. Every day they were open to new ideas and everyone’s perspectives. Feeling appreciated is one of the biggest downfalls of most companies but I can tell you Medisca is different. They go above and beyond to show their appreciation. After the of week of trainings and activities they held the new annual MedGala (Christmas Party). This was an amazing and elegant event at a glamorous venue. Top performers received awards, everyone enjoyed a five star meal and danced the night away. What stood out was the owner and CEO took time to speak individually with anyone who wished, taking as much time needed to talk with everyone. When I spoke with him I was so impressed with how much he genuinely cares about his employees. I don’t see Medisca going anywhere but up. Anyone who has the passion, drive and the “IT” factor has the opportunity to be apart of something special at Medisca.
