Pros

Awesome peer group Leading industry technology you get to work with Some of the brightest people in the industry are sitting right across from you Excellent development group Company parties, benefits package (but not salary)

Cons

Very consuming. Very high turnover rate in many areas, and additional work is piled upon those who stay and are able to take it. Of course, management is clueless and does not know how to recognize this, so they have unrealistic expectations and pile on more work with no motivation. Extremely political. As long as you are friends with a VP, you are set for life here. It is funny how the people who drive many of the innovations and products at the company are at the bottom level. The people at the top level simply sign on it without knowing what it is they are signing off on. Very few managers actually motivate their team or drive direction. If they did - you would be the first to know because they usually send out an email to the entire company if they actually do something good. Leadership is almost nonexistent. Don't expect to be led in the right direction by your manager, or even the head of the department. You have to make your own path and then just be assertive and push your own agenda. Poor change management. People pretty much are kept in the dark and then one day decisions are made and expectations are set, and guess who does the work?

Pros

The company was fantastic when I first started working there, the culture was embracing and supportive. Folks seem to care about your development at first and your growth.

Cons

After 3ds bought the company it started going downhill gradually, many c suite turnover, terminations and new latest CEO is clueless when it comes to executing the vision, while also making sure they continue delivering on NEXT all on all these features when at launch half of them don’t even work properly. Having spent years at the company I saw clients lose trust on the products and leadership, a lot of times CEO’s from client side would give advice on senior management on processes which being the vendor we should be the leaders on guidance not the other way around. Consider applying to other SaaS companies.
